Cast Announced for UK Tour of Hairspray
Matt Rixon, Layton William and Brenda Edwards to reprise roles.

Casting has been announced for the upcoming UK Tour of Hairspray, which will be directed by Paul Kerryson and choreographed by Drew McOnie.
Previously announced Matt Rixon and Brenda Edwards will reprise their roles as Edna Turnblad and Motormouth Maybelle. Layton Williams and Jon Tsouras also return to the production, playing Seaweed and Corny Collins respectively.
Norman Pace will join the production as Wilbur Turnblad and Rebecca Mendoza will make her professional debuts as Tracy Turnblad.
They will star alongside Gina Murray as Velma Von Tussle, Edward Chitticks as Link Larkin, Aimee Moore as Amber Von Tussle, Annalise Liard-Bailey as Penny Pingleton and Monifa James as Little Inez.
The remaining company will be made up of Lauren Concannon, Melissa Nettleford and Emily-Mae Walker as The Dynamites, Shay Barclay, Ben Darcy, George Hinson, Jordan Laviniere, Graham MacDuff, Lindsey McAllister, Tracey Penn and Freya Rowley.
Hairspray tells the story of Tracy Turnblad, a dancer who's determined to make a difference and has music and lyrics by Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman.
The tour opens in Cardiff on the 16th August, and will travel to Dartford, Dublin, Blackpool, Sunderland, Glasgow, Birmingham, Leicester, Buxton, Belfast, Aylesbury, Carlisle, Bradford, Guildford, Plymouth, Southampton, Sheffield, Inverness, Nottingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, Manchester, Milton Keynes, Liverpool, Hull, Llandudno, Canterbury and Southend, before culminating at High Wycombe.
