Selladoor Announce New UK Tour of Spamalot
Spamalot will tour the UK from September
5th May 2017
Spamalot will start its tour in Blackpool and initial casting includes Marc Akinfolarin, Sarah Harlington, Bob Harms, Norton James, Matthew Pennington and Gleanne Purcell-Brown. They will be directed and choreographed by Daniel Buckroyd and Ashley Nottingham respectively, with stage design, lighting and sound by Sara Perks, David W. Kidd and Chris Bogg.
Spamlot is based on the story of Monty Python's Holy Grail and includes songs such as "The Song That Goes Like This" and "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life." It was written by Monty Python cast member Eric Idle, alongside John DuPrez and won the 2005 Tony Award for Best New Musical.
The tour opens at the Blackpool Opera House, from 12-16 September 2017, and will travel to Bridlington, Edinburgh, Birmingham, Sunderland, Exeter, Chester, Manchester, Woking, Wimbledon, Buxton, Reading, Portsmouth, Coventry, Malvern, Billingham and Basildon, before culminating at the Floral Pavilion, Wirral, from 3-7 April 2018.
